Born and raised in Illinois, Joan grew up in a loving Catholic family.  She lives with her husband, Chuck.  Joan is the proud mother of five grown daughters and six grandchildren. 

Joan has always loved the written word, encouraging her children and grandchildren to embrace books.  She is passionate about taking her God given gift of writing and sharing it with the world.

Joan has her Bachelor's degree in Education from Blackburn College.  In pursuit of her dream to reach children, she taught at St. Aloysius School in Springfield for a few years.  Joan has since expanded her reach by writing childrens books that combine adventure and morales.

Her first novel, My Big Feet, introduced Joan to the literature world. 

Joan has completed her first Trilogy "Hiding the Stranger".  She has also completed an exciting adventure concerning the history of the Knights of Columbus.

Joan is researching information for an upcoming historical fiction adventure series for kids!!
